The first Members’ Conference of NDBUS was held at LGED Hall Room in Dhaka on 7th February 2010. Representative of 580 Primary Committees of NDBUS participated in this daylong program. Mr. A K M Mozammel Haque Honorable M P and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Land Ministry was present as chief guest of inaugural session, presided over by Mr. Hamid Fakir of NDBUS. Professor Nazrul Islam, Chairman, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh and Engineer Ali Ahmed, National Project Director of Urban Partnership for Poverty Reduction Project (UPPRP) were present as special guests. Representative of government organizations, NGOs and media also present in the inaugural session. The next session included group for understanding mission statement of NDBUS and forming zonal groups from the respective wards under 10 zone areas in Dhaka City Corporation area.
